@IndexofGujarat This is the worst kind of design. This is exactly what we shouldn't be doing. North American urbanism is the worst example to follow. Cookie cutter design, low density urban sprawls.

I want to talk about the women who are healing completely alone. No therapist. No support system that truly understands. No person in their physical life who has the capacity to hold the full weight of what they are carrying. Just them. Reading threads at midnight. Saving posts they will return to at 3AM. Building themselves back up using whatever they can find in the dark. If that is you I want you to know that what you are doing is one of the most extraordinary acts of self love I have

@LeviiAckerman98 No.most people don't divorce because they want prettier, rocher spouse. It's becoz they r married to cheaters, abusers, avoidant, can't share responsibility etc etc. divorce is not easy and most people take that decision only after knowing that's better than being married.

Divorce rates are high in this generation for one simple reason. People don't understand what marriage actually is. Social media made everyone believe there's always someone better out there, a richer man, a prettier woman, a more exciting life, but comparison kills loyalty.

His name is Subramanyam Vedam. Everyone called him Subu. He was born in India. His family brought him to America when he was 9 months old. In 1982, he was 20 years old. A student in Pennsylvania. His friend Thomas Kinser was found dead. Police accused Subu. No murder weapon was ever found. The case rested entirely on circumstantial evidence. He was convicted and sentenced to life without parole. For 43 years, he sat in Huntingdon State Correctional Institution in Pennsylvania. He grew old inside. In 2022, the Pennsylvania Innocence Project found something buried in the District Attorney's files. An FBI report and handwritten notes showed that the bullet recovered from the victim was too small to have been fired from the weapon Subu allegedly used. This evidence had existed since the beginning. It was never shown to the defence. In September 2025, all murder charges were dropped. On October 3 2025, Subu walked out of prison. He was 64 years old. He had spent 43 years inside for a crime he did not commit. He became the longest serving wrongful exoneree in Pennsylvania history. Then ICE detained him. They had a deportation order from the 1980s. They wanted to send him to India. A country he had not seen since he was 9 months old. A country whose language he does not speak. A country where he knows no one. The system took 43 years of his life. Then tried to take his country too.

The America of today is a far cry from what the natives had. It’s been over 300 years, the natives got their reparations and we built civilization. This argument is foolish and trite at this point. Of course I wouldn’t expect an in bred cow worshipping poopj33t to understand any of the nuance that comes from the passage of time and cultural buildup. Anyways your blue six armed monkey gods suck my American cock.

"It does not matter even if you die..I will come out by pledging my property" - Sub Inspector Balakrishnan "I could not hear their screams... Are you guys not beating them...? - Inspector Sridhar “We got a fresh piece, we are giving training on beating” - Constable Murugan It took brave testimonies from personnel within the force, prudent probe by the investigating agencies, family and friends who stood by the prosecution and did not turn hostile, even a deposition from a deaf man to ensure this justice. The police picked up a man just for hearing from a third party that he spoke ill about them, brutally assaulted him and his son who went to the station to question their act and jailed them by foisting a false case, and destroyed evidences. To quote the Judge, "It is not the first case in Indian history, nor will it be the last." But, Let's not FORGET.. Link: dtnext.in/news/tamilnadu…

The judge told her she had two choices: go to prison for six months, or submit to her husband. She was 22 years old, and she had never even met the man. She chose prison. Then she wrote a letter that would change Indian law forever. Bombay, 1885. Rukhmabai sat in a courtroom, listening as a man claimed legal rights over her life. His name was Dadaji Bhikaji. According to the law, he was her husband—married to her when she was just 11 years old in a ceremony arranged without her consent. After the marriage, she had returned to her mother’s home, as child brides often did. But her life took a different path when her stepfather, a progressive doctor, encouraged her to study instead of sending her away. For the first time, she experienced education—reading, writing, thinking for herself. By the time she was 22, she was educated, articulate, and certain of one thing: she would not accept a marriage forced on her as a child. Dadaji disagreed. In 1884, he filed a case demanding his “conjugal rights,” asking the court to force her to live with him. His argument was simple—law and tradition were on his side. Rukhmabai’s response was unheard of. She refused. She said she had never consented, that the marriage meant nothing to her. The case shocked society. At a time when child marriage was deeply rooted in custom, her refusal was seen as rebellion. Newspapers across India and Britain began covering the case. Public opinion split—some condemned her, others supported her courage. Rukhmabai didn’t stay silent. She began writing letters under a pseudonym, exposing the realities of child marriage and questioning the system that justified it. Her words were clear, direct, and impossible to ignore. But the law did not favor her. In 1887, the court ruled against her. She was ordered to either go live with her husband or face six months in prison. She chose prison. That decision changed everything. The idea of imprisoning a woman for refusing to live with a man she did not choose created public outrage. Reformers rallied behind her. Debates intensified, and pressure began building on the colonial government. Eventually, the case was settled outside court, and she was freed. But the impact of her stand did not end there. In 1891, the Age of Consent Act was passed, raising the legal age for marriage consummation. It was a small step, but a significant one, and her case had played a crucial role in forcing that change. Rukhmabai moved forward with her life. She chose to study medicine, traveling to London to train as a doctor at a time when very few women did. She returned to India as one of its first practicing female physicians, dedicating her life to treating women and children. She never returned to the life that had been decided for her. Rukhmabai lived into her nineties, witnessing a changing world shaped in part by the stand she took decades earlier. For years, her story faded into the background, overshadowed by others. But what she did remains clear. She refused a life chosen for her. And by doing so, she changed what was possible for others.

IT TAKES A LOT TO BE REVATHI…!!! While the whole country is celebrating the landmark judgement of death penalty for the NINE policemen in the Santhanakulam custodial torture and murder of Jeyaraj and Bennix, you should know about Revathi. Revathi was a constable in Santhanakulam police station in 2020 when the gruesome incident took place. She was the key witness and the sole reason for all the arrogant officers getting punished today. The police men involved in the brutality were all big men, Revathi was a small time constable. But she stood unperturbed. When Magistrate Bharathidasan, who initially investigated this case, arrived at the Santhanakulam police station he had no clue that constable Revathi will help close the case. "Sir, I will tell you everything, every detail, the truth that is being hidden. But I am the mother of two young girls... can you guarantee the safety of my children and my job?", she had asked the magistrate. Revathi was on night duty when the cruel incident took place. She witnessed the brutality being inflicted on Jeyaraj and Bennix and narrated every single detail. She told how SI Balakrishnan, inspector Sridhar and SI Ragukanes, kept beating the father and son with whatever they found, and how they also stomped on their private parts with their shoes. She remembered their screams. She saw how the officers took pause only to sip alcohol while the victims withered in pain. When the father and son were semi-conscious, unable to bear it, Revathi asked Jayaraj if he needed anything. She gave him coffee which the officials spilt it immediately. Revathi couldn’t stand the brutality but being a woman constable there was only so much she could do. She then offered water to the victims. The so called policemen then stripped Bennix naked, tied his hands and legs separately, and beat him up. They did the same to Jeyaraj. Revathi couldn’t bear the pain of their screams, she left the place. According to the postmortem report, their entire back was skinned, iron rods were inserted and they bled from their rectums. When the case was being discussed by the media, when even the CM of Tamil Nadu tried to brush it away, Revathi knew the truth. The police officials, cleaned up the station of any DNA evidences, erased the CCTV footage and warned everyone to shut-up and not try to become heroes. But Revathi didn’t just narrate the entire ordeal in exact detail…she even helped the investigating officials obtain other crucial information. Despite everything being cleaned, Revathi gathered DNA of the victims in crevices of the walls and floors, on furniture and other objects. She was questioned, threatened, intimidated, bribed and even abused. She stood by justice. She had to go against her colleagues for justice of comman man. In the time when police force is often looked upon with reasonable suspicion, there are people in uniform like Revathi. Today court could pronounce death sentence to nine police officers - only because one woman decided she will stand by truth! Kudos to Revathi, an amazing woman and an absolutely fabulous police officer. The world is a better place because of her courage. Salute ma’am 🙏🏽🙏🏽🙏🏽
