2/2 The same college has same number of 13 seats for microbiology but open seats are 8 (much more than that for gynae). So the reservation policy is dis-similar amongst branches. Where does this approach get sanction from?

This is the extract of PG Medical All India Seat Matrix. GMC Nagpur has 13 seats for Gynae. 4 seats open, 1 for EWS. I understood maximum reservation before EWS was 50%. How does open become 30%?. But wait for the next post in this thread.. 1/2

YOU have the power to - Heal those who're emotionally hurt Motivate those who have failed Help people forgive someone Inspire them to change habits. Why do you wait for someone to do this for you? You have the power to change Their Minds. Can you not do the same with Your Mind.

@canitesh_jain @GSTsite Thanks Nitesh for seconding my tweet. Of late, I am seeing lot of angst on social media by fellow professionals and this in my view is not healthy for the long term growth of the profession.

@GSTsite @sbgco I did indeed bfr responding, post is abt comparative rates of services in pre GST and GST, first u should hv checked the rates before posting, secondly comparison should not be partisan but be holistic and therefore include credit eligibility also which reduces effective tax rate

@CAclubindia It's going on fine. All clients who have sent us complete data at least a week in advance, we have completed. For the rest we are trying our best. Overall our firm may achieve 80% completion by tomorrow.

@LubnaKtoi Ideally law amendments in GST also cannot be part of Finance Bill but have to be through GST Council process. Was surprised to see some amendments to GST Law proposed in earlier budgets.

Till today industry associations haven't understood that #GST rates are not part of the Finance Bill. For that matter nor have some CA Firms. Spammy pre budget representations and pitches can be amusing

@INCIndia I didn't know it is already 70 years since Rajiv Gandhi took the leadership. Further, not clear the 35 years later mentioned in result is from which date? I am not even commenting on the outcome of the objectives stated in the picture.

@JioCare jio sucks. The installation took more than a month. The technical team is most incompetent. They do not have basic knowledge of technology terms like IP or DNS. they are struggling to configure my tv since more than a week.

@alok_rgh @CAChirag I would believe that 3B or DRC would be the basis for interest since GSTR9 does not by itself permit payment of tax. The date of filing of return is relevant for limitation and determination of suppressed turnover/ inflated credit. This is where the proviso comes to play

@CAChirag @sbgco In my opinion this interpretation is not right. There is no reference of auto populated form 9 in sec 44(1) and Rule 80 and even in notification itself. The wording used that return has to be deemed as filed is for other sec. charging interest penalty etc.

All those who think GSTR 9 Annual return is optional to file for turnover of <2Cr are wrong If you don't file by 30 Nov it will be demeed to be filed, meaning info available in auto populated form will be assumed to be final & filed - @sbgco Imp to check & file GSTR9 for all

@27sjs @INCIndia Good. The earliest post said the Government does not listen to suggestions. This one says it makes changes as per suggestions after implementation. I believe learning on the job is far better than not learning at all. We do remember fringe benefit tax!

@sbgco @INCIndia Criticism is healthy if it is constructive. But Indian politics hasn't reached that maturity. But one thing you can't deny is that this government has made it a habit of learning on the job...changes as per suggestions is not how policies should be implemented.

Our economy has not recovered from the man made blunders of demonetisation & a hastily implemented GST... I urge the govt to put aside vendetta politics & reach out to all sane voices to steer our economy out of this crisis: Former PM Dr Manmohan Singh #DrSinghOnEconomicCrisis

@INCIndia Yes, it does listen to the extent possible. At least make suggestions. Some of them will be listened. Can't just keep criticising. People are fed up with this constant negativity.

@INCIndia So you want to make vice out of low inflation and attribute farmer distress to stable prices? Rather than only rhetoric criticism, provide 5 concrete steps that you would take if you are in this situation.
