#sbltwitter @SBLconnect Can I double check that for 2025/26 all the pay awards grants (TPAG), pension grants (TPECG) etc are being rolled into the NFF. We're not currently expecting any additional/separate grants, apart from something towards NI increases? Thanks

I gave this TED talk warning Silicon Valley of the profound threat of it posed to democracy nearly 6 years ago. It provoked a lawsuit that caused me years of pain. The UK government did nothing to contain the threat. And here we are.

@Headteacherchat Make sure the data in SIMS/ your current MIS is cleaned. Ie: no duplicate contacts, or emails; contact priorities are correct (not No1 for both parents, etc). It will make the migration process far easier.

Beautiful single released by an acquaintance is in the running for Christmas No1. Amazing as he's independent - no marketing/ agency to promote him, just reliant on word of mouth. Please listen, stream, buy, share. ALL proceeds are going to charity! groupspeed.lnk.to/AColdDecember?…

@JayEllePeaElle Because of the flat rate increase, those lower on the scale had higher % increase so wouldn't have felt so strongly. Also, many SBLs switched to NAHT / ASCL etc - as they're better placed to support us as leaders, eg. conflicts with staff. 🫤

1/2: SBLs will again receive the lowest % pay rise compared to the majority of the education workforce, but we're less likely to kick up a stink because we're the ones most acutely aware of the impact of pay rises on budgets.

We should not feel guilty for wanting a pay increase in line with other education staff. It's not our fault or burden to bear alone. We're not to blame. We're the ones working hard to balance budgets, often seen as the bad guys for it. No wonder so many leave the profession. 🫤

So pleased for @amberanning smashing the British 400m record. I remember she was already talented when she attended a primary school I used to work at. Lovely to see how she's flourished. C'mon Amber!!! Whoop whoop!
