I’m super thankful to be able to get 2nd place in one of the first One Piece Regionals with the new Serial Luffy. It was a great tournament and I had a blast playing against some great players. I’ve been fortunate enough to lock in a sale for my ungraded Luffy for $30,300 earlier this week. While some people might have better deals lined up, I wanted to help other top 8 competitors make more informed decisions regarding the sale of their prize cards.

optcg is a fascinating game because it’s by far the hardest tcg i’ve ever played yet simultaneously u can play a perfect game and ur opponent can play like shit and sometimes ull still convincingly lose. yugioh would almost never (yes u can be the goat and still go 2nd no ht gg)

this vacation to japan has been amazing on so many levels. sharing some thoughts: 1. people in the west, myself included, can be so entitled. workers in asian countries work so much harder with so much more financial burden while people in the west barely work and complain about being overworked. all this to say, dont be entitled but also dont be complacent, and appreciate the lives we have been given. 2. walking everywhere has done wonders. instead of only sitting at a desk 15 hours a day and having all kinds of body pain, i am going to start walking 10k steps a day. my shoulder and lower back pains have subsided significantly, and i generally feel way healthier. 3. life is so short, and theres so much to explore. as a huge introvert, i feel like all ive done my whole 35 years of life is be indoors, but i want to see more of the world and experience some new things. 4. i finally got around to watching all the evangelion rebuild movies. the whole franchise is fairly confusing for me, but i think my main takeaway is that the world isnt perfect and neither am i. i can be super introverted, but ultimately i do need social connections, and even though relationships sometimes bring pain, relationships with others are also what make my life meaningful. ready to dive back into work soon!
