@End_myeloma I had the same issue, DVD is doing the job for now (weekly 1.3 and ready to stop), no bad Tox after 3m and paraprotein normal after just 1 cycle

3) As with prior RCTs it shows prolonged PFS with early transplant but similar overall survival. That's because transplant works, but the timing doesn't matter as far as survival is concerned. You do the same trial many times of course you are going to get the same results.

My thoughts on the DETERMINATION trial in myeloma presented in the Plenary session of #ASCO22 and published simultaneously in @NEJM #ASCO22VR 1) This is not a trial of transplant vs no transplant. 2) It's ~ the 5th RCT of early vs delayed transplant

@myeloablation @AaronGoodman33 That stuff is amazing. It’s a pain killer as well as antipyretic. We used it for all kind of fevers, pre Sct, post Sct, for infections, after ATG etc. Just imagine you have an alternative to Tylenol or if Tylenol doesn’t cut it. Of course there is this rare side effect...

@AaronGoodman33 Metamizole. We used it all day long in Germany on BMT for fevers but it’s banned in USA and most other countries dus to risk of agranulocytosis.
