@schaffer_cliff @Aldhissla45 @jonathanstea A scientific theory explains phenomena using evidence from the scientific method. Germ "theory" lacks such evidence, failing to meet Koch's Postulates. The hypothesis has been repeatedly falsified by healthy hosts carrying so-called disease-causing germs.

@dburstedNo1 @ViroLIEgy @Aldhissla45 @jonathanstea His complaint is with microbes in general. How would you know what the military does to soldiers? In this case, there are millions of immediate results. What do you think causes the clap? Why? What explains the millions of successful results?

@ViroLIEgy @Aldhissla45 @jonathanstea You had no clue about any part of it. Let's try something really simple: What is a "theory?" As in "germ theory of disease." What exactly does "theory" mean in science? Do you know?

@ViroLIEgy @Aldhissla45 @jonathanstea It is one of the clearest examples of a germ-caused epidemic and 100% effective treatment. By a miracle of coincidence they were right ever time. You didn't even know it happened. Neither do you have any idea what might have fixed it.

@schaffer_cliff @Aldhissla45 @jonathanstea No, it doesn’t. As I pointed out to you, effects of treatments do not prove a cause. You are resorting to fallacious reasoning. As you keep deflecting away, do you concede the HIV/AIDS discussion?

@dburstedNo1 @ViroLIEgy @Aldhissla45 @jonathanstea Tens of millions of anecdotes all the same make a better bet than "Nuh-uh" from web randos. You are the only person I have ever met who thought it wasn't germs. So, what was it? What evidence do you have - anecdotal or otherwise - that says penicillin didn't fix it in 24 hours?

@ViroLIEgy @Aldhissla45 @jonathanstea The topic is whether microbes like germs and viruses cause disease, isn't it? If they don't cause the clap, what does? I have never seen or heard any other explanation.

@dburstedNo1 @ViroLIEgy @Aldhissla45 @jonathanstea I was there and saw it on a daily basis. Guys visited Suzy. They all screamed at the urinal. Went to the doc and got a shot. Next day they are OK. Give Suzy a shot, no more guys screaming Too many examples to count. Well known problem in the military. You never heard of the clap?

@ViroLIEgy @Aldhissla45 @jonathanstea Yeah, I knew you didn't know about it. But thanks for confirming it. Maybe you should look up epidemics that were solved in very short periods of time. They don't fit your ideas.
