@gloomlurks Completely linear game that mixes survival and action horror failing at both. Chris gets completely mischaracterized and the overall plot makes no sense and is way too fantasy like. I hate it too. Also having to link Mother Miranda to Spencer was dumb as fuck too.

@schatthiasm @sileonthill In nine he’s better, in 4 remake I actually found a lot of his one liners a little weird. I think in 9 he is better for the most part. His one liners are pretty good mainly because of delivery. They don’t seem forced

i only want to see leon again if it makes sense for the story rather than turning him into even more of a cash grab than they already have. what makes him a great character is his genuineness and if he just comes back whenever he starts to lose that and re9 is a testament to that

@sileonthill This 100% I feel like he had alot less real dialogue than in previous installments tho this could also be because of the extremely empty and dry Raccoon Coty section. Scene like the one with the nurse don't help either that he just let die to make a one liner...

@rivrje @FadiRE_ @norahLSK Yeah I agree but I still think they should wrap up legacy characters arcs first and not make two games in a row with the same new character. There being no game with any of the established characters between RE6 and Requiem (14 years) was not good for the franchise.

He explained that the Capcom team feels no need to replace the saga's most well known faces with younger protagonist, that the heroes age is not a problem and does not affect the quality of the games in any way.
