@space_welding @Gigimw2 @CalibreObscura Yes, while wet. Unprotected steel can flash rust as it dries, especially if it is warm. Get some water displacing oil on there and then dry.

@Gigimw2 @CalibreObscura When you clean a gun with water, the idea is you use the water to remove all the crap, then let it dry quickly, and then you apply a layer of oil onto unfinished / wear surfaces so the metal there doesn't corrode
