I decided my course on Francis Bacon’s epistemology of science was going to be different:
- read ONLY 1 book front to back (Novum Organon)
- No paper assignment
- 50% participation grade
- Historian guest speaker to provide context not in text

I don't think you can go wrong with a sport coat paired with tailored trousers and leather shoes. The reason why this combination sometimes looks bad is because the clothes don't fit or the person choose ugly things. But when the clothes fit, it looks great.

I’m learning a lot from my students about their reasons for disclosure re Venmo privacy/friends settings, findmy or snapmaps, etc. Bottom line: Norms around privacy are changing very quickly. Emphasis on continual reassurance with respect to social connection, ‘safety’, and presence.
