@schned31 @ScottDochterman It's an analytics thing. Mid range jumpers aren't as likely to fall, and shooting more 3s has been the trend for the last 10 years.

My interpretation was that Folgueiras was trying to punch the ball. If he tried to punch Condon he would have connected because he was lying on top of him. It was up to the refs to determine whether he made enough contact with Condon to warrant an ejection, and apparently they did not.
