I’m on an @NEUnion Reps induction course this week, and none of the pre-course stuff mentions a dress code.. What do we suppose it’s going to be?!

OK Go
OK Go@okgo·
This is Love—the only song there’s ever been and the most technically ambitious OK Go music video to date. Shot in a (nearly) subfreezing Hungarian train station, the operation relied on the meticulous choreography of 29 robots and the incredible expertise of over 60 brilliant people. (Among them, of course, were co-directors Damian Kulash, Aaron Duffy [@dufslam], and Miguel Espada.) But the thing we’re particularly proud of here isn’t technical achievement—it’s feeling. This song is among the most sincere we’ve ever written, so the challenge was to deliver all our trademark visual spectacle while *also* tugging a heartstring or two. We aimed for more than mirror trickery and Kodachrome; we were after something resonant, multiplex, ever-expansive. Something like love itself. So, this video is about connection—the universes it contains and unfurls—and as it turns out, we’d use math and several metric tons of machinery to get there, putting robots in service of a distinctly human phenomenon. We will say: they were a pleasure to work with. Never missed a cue. Never flubbed a take. We hope you enjoy. - #OKGo #Love #NewMusicVideo #MusicVideos #NewAlbum #AndtheAdjacentPossible #Robots #Robotics #RobotsofInstagram #Mirrorball

Mark assessments only. If you're doing feedback in the classroom on everything you teach and regular high quality retrieval, marking is pointless. If your department 'deep marks' a random 6 marker / piece of work every two x weeks - stop this. Do it in the lesson and feed back!
Sumera Khan@_Sami_Khan_90

Science teachers, let’s discuss marking &feedback. How often do people mark? which pieces of marking are centralised and tracked? Do people use zonal marking, sample marking and whole class feedback. Please share 😊 @AhmedKhattabUK @adamboxer1 @Hookean1 @Dr_Castelino @STEMyBanda

@halewoodcofe Absolutely adore seeing this frame is still a firm feature of the hall! I was a student at CofE from 1995-2002(!) and remember it all so fondly ☺️☺️ Feel really proud to be a teacher myself now, after everything CofE taught me!

@santanderukhelp It’s not an error now, now it’s repeatedly accepting the photos I’m taking with the green ticks, reading the correct date/amount and then telling me the quality isn’t good enough. It’s rather frustrating I work during the hours the banks are open so I can’t physically go in!

@missradders You’re welcome! Tour had 2 actual stops related to GoT; one from a 22s clip in the show (madness) & the other a place called the Dark Hedges which is stunning for scenery alone, if you don’t know GoT. Our driver mentioned a few references as we drove but that was it!

@missradders ….stop offs at places from the show. That was worth every penny and to be stood on the causeway was bucket list worthy! Dinner that night at Mournes seafood bar, unreal food. 3rd day we did breakfast at Neighbourhood, then walked to Titanic Museum which was so eye opening and….
