2 years ago, everything was going great in my mid-career lab. Making a choice to reduce stress and prioritize my health turned out to have ripple effects - my colleagues, family, and friends are reaping the benefits, as am I. I tell my story in @eLife elifesciences.org/articles/82831

@ViroDoc @sci_neha @AcademicChatter I had the opportunity of traveling a lot collecting my #macroinvertebrate and #seaweed samples along the entire South African coastline...that was fun!!! and I also had fun writing up my thesis/communicating my science..still enjoying the writing post phd😊😊
