@OwenBenjamin A lot of beauty in this. Disagree with putting your family, particularly the children, online, for the sake of someone else. That reasoning could use some scrutiny. God bless you.

I’ve said my peace about the Robinson trial. For now. The lies are so blatant and obvious that it almost seems intentional. Either way at this point I don’t have much to add. Crazy time to be alive but I realized recently that this is the happiest time of my life. Me and my wife are healthy and in love, our kids are young and innocent and we get to be with them learning and growing. But they’re getting old enough where we can play sports and have solid convos. No longer have to worry about any of them falling down the stairs or rolling on them at night. They’re healthy and full of life. We get to live in nature but work with the magic of tech so I can do my job from a river or tree house. And the people who listen to me I genuinely like and respect and can call many of them my friends and peers. I am deeply and profoundly grateful for this life I’ve been able to share with the people I love. Even my enemies turned out to be fun lessons. I don’t slay wizards and call out these terrifying machines for some thrill, agenda, or spite. It’s because I can and it’s the least I can do. I’m perfectly happy just telling jokes, playing piano, and growing food. Years ago I saw a dad on Twitter say his 4 year old boy was a girl. I felt like I wasn’t looking at an eccentric, a disease, or “the times.” I saw evil. And what shocked me was the silence. The man was named Jesse Thorne and he had status in my industry at npr. Why was no one protecting this boy? He’s innocent. Having been given my first son at this time I knew they were innocent. So I went hard at him. Publicly. The more was taken from me, the more names I was called, the more resolute I became. More lies became obvious, more people treated me like some monster that I knew I wasn’t. I kept thinking of that boy. What if it was my boy? What if it was me? Long story short, everything taken was a gift. I could be home more from the road due to my sudden ostracism so my wife and I got closer, had more children. We developed deep a profound love and trust I didn’t know was possible because of what we endured and the strength we saw in each other. I know Gods gifts are free. God doesn’t bargain or keep a ledger. God is infinite. But I feel like I always owe him for the blessings we have been given. If I hadn’t seen the evil I wouldn’t have known there was nothing to fear during Covid. We had two more kids as the world panicked. A gift. It’s impossible now for me to not see the face of God in every innocent being abused out of envy, spite, and a profound darkness that can only exist if there’s an even brighter light. Some people say “don’t show ur family online it puts them in danger.” It’s not for me. It’s for the young person who now knows it’s possible. It’s for those in despair who don’t know they’re surrounded by lies to see something priceless, simple, and obvious. I only have the family I have now, because I cared for someone else’s that I would never meet. More than money, status, or my own safety. I didn’t realize it at the time but that’s what it was. I shoveled cubes of money into a fire for the idea of a kid I didn’t know. I only have a wife who loves who I actually am now because she’s seen me fighting to break free of shadows and ghosts. She’s seen me so low and scared and confused that there’s no way that can be faked. She knows me. She knows I love God. More than all the gifts we have been given. God is my provider God is my protector I truly believe that if I “play safe” and “quit while I’m ahead” I’ll see that I was only ahead because I wasn’t playing a game and it was never mine. we were only safe because we saw grace as duty and gifts as responsibility. Hopefully I’ll always know when to fight and when to model peace and be grateful in it. Amen

So the way to choose who will represent the people of South Carolina in the US Senate is to choose one of Lindsey Graham's siblings in order to "pay tribute" to him? That's not really the reason we have a Senate. Neither party even pretends to care about what voters want. Hey: Lindsey Graham died 6 seconds ago: we picked his obscure, experience-free sister to send to the US Senate and didn't even pretend to hear if you want that!
Treasury Secretary Scott Bessent@SecScottBessent

As a South Carolina native, I can think of no more fitting tribute to Lindsey Graham's legacy of service to our state and our nation than seeing his beloved sister carry it forward. Darline has always been at her brother’s side and I know she will be an outstanding interim Senator. The U.S. Treasury will do everything possible to support her and her staff as they work on the President’s agenda and continue to provide strong constituent services for the great people of South Carolina.

When you visit Orthodox churches in Russia and see the devotion of the people, you realize: hostility toward Russia goes beyond politics. It’s spiritual. A struggle between good & evil, corrupt woke Western values & traditional family values. God vs. the devil. God always wins.

Trump swore he "would not sign" the housing bill. He let it pass anyway. Inside it: a Section 8 expansion — better zip codes for the next Michael Brown. Yours, for instance. Guess who's made millions off Section 8 housing? Jared Kushner.

@Cernovich "You can show cases where it did not. Multiple hunting forum posts from decades ago." How often does a 30-06 fail to exit? Let's say 1/100 shots, even though it's probably more like 1/1000 or less. So, putting aside all else, the official story is already very improbable.

“A 30-06 will always leave an exit wound.” You can show cases where it did not. Multiple hunting forum posts from decades ago. Small deer. Hunters saying bullet fragmented and didn’t exit. “Wow why do you trust the government, this is fed slop.” And on and on it will go.

@homesteadpilot We get the point you're making. It's just what kind of dude spends his time writing out this story about his old man and tweeting it to strangers for comments/likes? Kinda says more about you than him tbh.

My dad (boomer with 5 houses, worked very hard his whole life), had a 2013 F-150 lariat. Garaged every day, looked like it just came off the showroom floor, never so much as a potato chip inside. 170k miles. He just traded it into the dealership…. For $5,000 He visited me 4 weeks ago, he knows I drive a 2001 Tacoma with 300k miles on it. I would’ve given him $10k. He didn’t even think to ask if I wanted it. Called me up all proud of the deal he made, said “I bet I could’ve gotten 7k for the truck but it wasn’t worth the hassle.” The dealership will sell it for $18k and I’m still driving the Tacoma.

Dolly Parton asks Taylor Swift and Travis Kelce for their firstborn son while flashing devil horns with her hand. This comes after Taylor Swift and Travis Kelce made a $2 million donation to her Imagination Library. "Can I have it? Because that is going to be one special baby." "We'll continue that mission in bigger ways now with your money."

@bennyjohnson This kind of shit is so gay and low-key beta, figures you'd think it's the reason "we will never be conquered." We have already been conquered...by faggots. You aren't going to like what it actually looks like when we retake it, though.

I want every foreigner visiting America for the World Cup to realize this is 100% legal. And every town in the USA is filled with patriots who have armories like this. Every block, actually. This is why we will never be conquered and are awesome 🇺🇸

@Right_All_Wrong @ThomasMHern TheRightIsWrong is correct. As a right-wing combat veteran, I'm not proud to be American, but that doesn't mean I hate America. If you let yourself see how far we have fallen, you stop feeling pride. America is an economic zone managed by a corrupt elite. But hurray for 250!

25 years ago, 90% of Republicans were proud or extremely proud to be American. 87% of Democrats felt the same way. 25 years later, 92% of Republicans are proud to be Americans. Just 36% of Democrats feel the same way. It's not an exaggeration to say the left hates America.

A good rule of thumb is that your ancestors had a temperament very similar to you. So when you hear stories like “back in the day Whites used to hunt down blacks and lynch them for looking at them wrong,” ask yourself if you would do that? If you wouldn’t, it’s probably fake.
