You can pass all the anti-cheating bills you want in Parliament. It will not stop a single exam leak. If stringent laws alone could deter people, there would be no crime in the world. It’s not just the text of the law. It is the criminal justice system and its ability—and certainty—to punish criminals that deters crime. In our country, the process itself becomes the punishment for the innocent, while the actual masterminds get bail and a slap on the wrist after five years of तारीख पे तारीख. When a criminal knows that the certainty of swift punishment is absolute, he thinks ten times before compromising an examination paper. Until we fix the certainty of prosecution, don't hold your breath that new paper laws will stop real-world leaks.

Distributing free ice creams and orchestrating these photo-ops doesn't make this a spontaneous student movement. It makes it a well-funded PR tamasha. You can peddle this emotional blackmail all you want. But when you break the law, block streets, and clash with Delhi Police, don't cry victim. The state will respond.

I saw one video which showed a person sponsoring ice-creams for protestors. When asked why he has come, he said he is a father and had to look into the eyes of his kids. A mother father duo of a son studying in UK came to site. Said their son asked them to take a lathi on his behalf. And they came! I saw a video of a young father carrying 3 year old saying I am here because I want a better future for my child. Good luck calling them anarchists and ignoring the sentiments and concerns.

If a platform systematically amplifies anti-India propaganda, the company is complicit. A few days in Tihar will fix their algorithms overnight. - Shift from defense to offense. Do not just monitor foreign troll farms. Map their digital infrastructure and actively dismantle their networks at the source. Hit them back. - Prosecute the internal cabal. Insiders within these SM companies who manipulate reach for anti-India forces are active collaborators in a shadow war. Treat them as such. As these protests are resolved, India must: - Ban social media for under 13 - Moderate social media for under 18 - Regulate social media companies - Mandate a reporting tool under every post to GoI - Setup a SM/M monitoring & response cell - Study & research social media trends & Algo - Take up propaganda on state media with countries - Take up anti-Indian SM psyops with partners - Monitor and control "finfluencers" farms - Start units that can counter the infowar on India And I hope India is using the current opportunity to study social media operations, organization, and algorithmic warfare of the adversaries on India. Moving forward, GE Aerospace has assured HAL that it will supply an additional 22 engines by the end of the year to help clear the backlog. If “year” refers to the financial year, then together with the seven engines already delivered, HAL would have enough engines for 29 Tejas Mk1A aircraft, equivalent to more than 1.5 fighter squadrons ready for delivery, assuming production progresses as planned.

During the ongoing student protests in Delhi (India), the government suspended internet services in the area while protesters were reporting live and sharing images and videos. Meanwhile, most media reporters were siding with the government and weren’t sharing the full story, blaming the students instead of the police. Many students were brutally beaten by the police, misusing their power, which is pathetic totally unacceptable. The worst part? There are countless videos of male police officers beating children and women inappropriately. In this situation, social media platforms like X and Instagram were the only way to know what’s ACTUALLY happening. We need better internet access and better governance. Shutting down communication during protests is unacceptable. Free speech is a joke in this country. Is this even a democracy anymore?
