@catgyoung Great point! Unfortunately, in science even some group leaders and professors have no idea how to do that and this reduces possible financing and collaboration for their whole group and makes their teaching terrible, too.

The hill I will die on: STEM grad programs MUST teach PhD students how to communicate their science to the public and legislators alike. This is 💯 not a drill.
