@scmatt34 @olydoegolf Do you have anywhere in Dallas i can try these on? I am local in Irving and need some new shirts

What makes @olydoegolf different?
Hollow cotton technology: Knitted with tube-like cotton yarns to create temperature regulation and "moisture wicking" through capillary action. Polo dries quicker and wrinkles less. You get a more premium drape, but still with lightweight feel.
Supima cotton with stretch: American-grown Supima cotton for incredible softness and durability. Blended with a small amount of elastane to improve recovery and shaping through 18 holes.
Hidden collar buttons: Creates a structured collar without the stiffness.
We spent lots of time and development to bring a unique product to market and hope you all love it as much as I do!

LOL Trevor Milton is raising $1B at a $4B valuation for an autonomous jet (consumer and military), says the most wealthy people in the world say “we can trust you now” because of the Trump pardon, and Trump affiliates are helping him.
Good luck!

@hamids How much does Rivian own? I notice the press release says “major shareholder” and not “majority shareholder”
Does Rivian have to disclose how much it owns and how much RJ owns personally?
English

This makes me even more bullish on $RIVN. Here are some reasons why:
1) The fact that RJ can get $500M investment from Accel and a16z, two of the top VC firms in the world, for a robotics startup, shows that access to capital will not be an issue for Rivian.
2) Mind Robotics itself, is a fantastic AI/Robotics startup, that will be focusing on solving manufacturing problems and will have plenty of customers for its solutions, including Rivian itself.
3) Rivian owns majority of Mind Robotics. A typical investment of this size by a VC is generally purchasing ~20-25% of the company. IF THAT'S THE CASE (that's a big if), that values Mind Robotics somewhere north of $2 Billion. Not too shabby, especially considering VCs are hoping/expecting at least 10x or higher returns for their investments.
4) Mind Robotics will likely be using Rivian's in-house designed RAP chips, providing at least another customer to help scale the costs of this chip, which is fantastic!
Very cool!

I am excited to announce Mind Robotics’ $500M financing, co-led by @Accel and @a16z! Mind is focused on building the world’s leading industrial robotics platform, capable of performing dexterous, variable, and reasoning-intensive tasks. Existing industrial robotics can perform repeatable, dimensionally stable tasks, but a large share of industrial value-add work requires human-like dexterity, adaptation, and physical reasoning that classical robotics cannot address. We are building AI-powered robots—models, hardware, and deployment infrastructure—that will perform real tasks, in real plants, at real scale.

@sethraynorr Good man. My new polo will be supima cotton with a little bit of elastane and a special hollow cotton technology to make it excel on the golf course and in the washer

How Olydoe came to be: I grew up in rural Illinois on a 9-hole public course, but after working in finance out of college, I was fortunate to join a country club in Chicago. I was surprised to the degree country club pro shops lacked craft and innovation. I found the same few brands; mostly polyester blends marketed as performance and innovation to distract from the actual materials.
My appreciation for materials and craftsmanship came from my family. My mother was the local high school home economics teacher. She would knit during my basketball games and even made my sister’s wedding dress. My grandmother also ran a local fabric store.
Our belief is simple: golf at its highest level does not need excess. Performance matters, but so does texture, comfort, and how a piece truly wears in.
I aim to bring pro shops substantive craft and innovation through the softness and timeless appearance of Supima cotton and the natural performance of Merino wool.
