Some of you need to stop fostering communities where your chat "jokingly" makes fun of you and pokes fun. You foster this exact environment and then end up later on talking about how poorly it affected your mental for streaming and yet you continue to foster that kind of environment for your streams. Some people can handle it and can punch back jokingly but others just get beaten down by it over time. If you can't handle it, stop making your own life harder by fostering that kind of community.

🌀HOW TO SPOT BOTS & SCAMMERS🌀 ::::: a VERY useful guide for V-Tubers, Artists, and Viewers (i’m so p.o-ed):::: * not a conclusive list ! bots / scammers are capable of learning in order to avoid detection. additionally- real people may exhibit one or more of these behaviors. this is a list of red flags more than it is definitive proof someone is a bot * 🌀🌀🌀🌀 1.) Only interacts with posts that contain the words “vtuber”, “commission” and/or “artists”. eg. “once I start commissioning artists” “looking for artists to commission” i found that censoring ALL words can be semi-helpful , but it doesn’t work 100% of the time. 2.) Take a look at their account. Are they advertising themselves as a V-tuber but the majority of their posts have nothing to do with their personality or content creation? eg. Lots of retweets , lots of engagement bait. Only ever interacting with vtubers and not viewers / potential audiences. Content creators , by nature, have interesting personalities, decent senses of humor , and most of all CREATE CONTENT. It’s why people choose to watch us. We want to share our ideas and have people get to know us. Bots only go where the money is. 3.) Spammy , complex username eg. (i pulled these out of my ass. no offense if these are real usernames) Aurouri7791 , KyleHashimoto, xxxDemonVTUBERChase, Kitten__Tuber009, Art_Lover_v_tube Most vtubers use easily recognizable, high value SEO usernames. Something simple and easy to search. In general, you will see a lot of Vtubers follow a ‘[Name]VT’ formatting. Of course not all the time, but typically , real vtuber usernames will be perfectly legible and aesthetically pleasing. 4.) Scammers will make alt accounts to promote their “main account”. It gives the same energy as a company leaving fake positive reviews. Check if there’s something off about their posts directing you to an artist’s page. And when you go to that artist’s page, are they liking / RTing accounts that all sound the same? all have the same typing quirks? the same grammar mistakes? And they’re ALL promoting that artist?! Usually means it’s the same person. This one is hard to explain bc V-tubers are very thankful and loveee to promote their mamas / papas 🌀w🌀. That in of itself is not entirely the red flag here .. It’s mostly looking out for signs that multiple accounts are ran by the same person. 5.) If youve ever worked at a job where the vast majority of it was using a computer (like me !) you’ve probs been trained to look out for phishing emails. Same thing applies on Twitter. Misspellings, bizarrely phrased sentences. Asking you to do something- in this case , ONLY ever posting those V-tuber engagement copypastas. Eg. “Summoning all __ vtubers” “post your model below if you’re a ___ vtuber” THEY’RE TRYING TO BULK UP THEIR “TO SCAM” HIT LIST. TLDR , the 5 things you wanna check : 1. Only interacts with posts containing the Forbidden Words (artist , commission) 2. No personality. Nothing to hint at what kind of content creator they are. Organic tweets buried by retweets. 3. Spammy usernames and spelling / grammar mistakes. 4. Promoting a specific account / seems to have multiple accounts. 5. Are their posts community / audience centric, or are they just extremely fixated on “finding more Vtubers?”. Ask yourself: Does it seem genuine ? 🌀🌀🌀🌀 Once again, please use your own discretion. I’m in bot HELL right now so I’m just kind of frustrated , but please remember, new vtubers are still learning how to interact with the community. If someone does 1 or more of these, it doesn’t automatically mean they’re an imposter.
