Polio wasn't eradicated; the definition was changed to give the illusion that vaccines save lives. The decline in polio was due to better hygiene and sanitation. Polio was already on the decline before vaccines were introduced to the public.

"My Opinion": DEI is directly responsible. How? DEI initiatives in medical school admissions, starting in the 90s influenced the American Psychiatric Association’s (APA) makeup of liberal arts undergraduate psychiatrist which led to the decision to reclassify gender dysphoria in the DSM-5. Starting in the late 80s and throughout the 90s, medical schools began prioritizing diverse applicants, including those from liberal arts backgrounds, who met basic pre-medical requirements. The intent was to train doctors with stronger interpersonal skills. Concurrently, affirmative action policies led to admitting students with lower GPAs. I personally believe this shift contributed to a new make up of the APA of liberal psychiatrist which contributed to the APA’s 2013 decision to reframe gender dysphoria as a distress-based condition rather than a mental disorder, as transgenderism was classified in the DSM-IV.

My husband and I are looking for seasoned legal counsel to evaluate options to sue @texashealth’s Dallas Presbyterian Hospital for holding our now healthy twins against our consent. We are seeking an aggressive lawyer experienced in this area of law. Our children were born at 34 +1 (5lbs 8oz and 6lbs 1oz) and required help breathing the first several days. They have been on room air for days now, yet the NICU wants to hold them and force them through its entire one-size-fits-all program. This NICU intends to keep them for weeks. We are also considering suing the hospital for insisting I was suffering from a UTI (despite two clear cultures) for days when I was, in fact, in labor, thus missing critical time when steroids could have been introduced to speed up the twins’ lung maturation.
