Where is the white privilege everyone talks about?? My 22-year-old son now wants to attend Aviation Mechanic School. It costs $40,000. They do not accept student aid. The only grants are these: 332 Heritage Foundation, Black Pilots of America, Latino Pilot Association, National Gay Pilot Association, Organization of Black Professionals, Professional Asian Pilots, Women in Aviation. So how is an average young white straight male supposed to go without me co-signing a full loan? 🤦‍♀️

@guard_republic @amylcris Umm army recruitment factories are located mainly in areas where minorities live and they promote a lot to minority to try and make a better life.

@amylcris All of the "join the military" suggestions are great, character building, skill building, etc. Fact remains, those others receiving grants don't have to put their life on the line to, yet again, get free stuff. I wish him well.

Customer service is DEAD. This guy pulls into McDonald’s at 5:01 AM (literally right after they opened). Sits in the drive-thru. Radio silence. Pulls to the window… employee with headphones barely looks at him and says: ‘Sir, you need to give us more time.’ But you’ve been OPEN. He leaves without ordering. Can’t blame him. This attitude is everywhere now. No respect, no urgency, no accountability.

@HistorianUSA1 I was at Disney world magic Kingdom on Monday and had this happen. They should have been open for a good 15 minutes and when I walked up they were still getting stuff sorted and situated and had dead blank stairs for me when I walked up to the window

@DrummerJacob_ @HistorianUSA1 I’m definitely not trying to get food from a fast food place that close to closing cuase the food is gonna be cold and who knows how long it’s been out since they are cleaning up at that point.

You should be able to expect food at McDonalds at 5:00, not even 5:01. If theyre open, that means theyre open. If a restaurant closes at 10, you should be able come in at 9:59. Staff know all of this, theyre just lazy and dont give a shit. Whats worse is restaurants have high turnover even up to managers and even owners, so things dont really often get better, they just shift around.
