@aidanskinner I’ve been doing it all my life. It’s not a Glasgow thing either. I was last on a bus a few weeks back in Edinburgh and everyone said thanks to the driver.

A very helpful graph. Shows reduction in absolute terms of gross electricity production in the UK. Why? Better efficiency of white goods, lighting, and people individually all making small differences (turning off instead of standby etc). Keep going folks!
