We've had the i3 for three months now... and it's utterly brilliant. Nicola uses it in EV mode most of the time, charging overnight every fourth day or so. She's just filled the petrol tank for the third time. £9. BMW should make them again so we can buy another used one in 2030.

🎄Cracker of a site just opened thanks to the UK Tesla Charging team. 17 miles north of the infamous Tebay services, just off the M6 > providing access to the Lake District with 16x V4 stalls (phase 1) for all EVs. In December 23' Tebay experienced 340 drivers waiting 10-minutes or more to charge during the holiday period. Since then, we've opened Supercharging sites in Preston, Todhills, Gretna Caledonia Park, Larkhall, (2x expansions) and now Rheged - adding 93 new chargers along this route to enable range comfort, availability and low-cost charging. So can someone tell me how I activate JUST cruise control. I do have option for “press twice for autopilot” like I used to use. I do not want to turn autopilot off because I will want it sometimes and car has to be parked to re-enable. What am I missing to just enable cruise? 🤔

Electric buses are the present and future. Stagecoach has been receiving some brilliant feedback about their new electric buses. I spoke with them to find out more. The feedback isn’t just from the people travelling on them, but also from those living along the routes. One resident told them how the change has transformed their day-to-day life. Living on a tight corner where buses used to slow down, rev up and pull away again, they were used to the constant noise and diesel fumes. Since they introduced their electric fleet, that disruption has disappeared. Now, they can sit in their garden in peace, enjoy the quieter streets, and appreciate the cleaner air. They even described it as “a delight” to see and hear the difference, and thanked them for their “electric clean buses.” It’s not only residents noticing the change. Passengers are talking about how smooth the journeys feel, how comfortable it is onboard, and how welcome the air conditioning has been during the summer heat. Some have even told Stagecoach drivers that they’re choosing their buses, over other operators running the same route, simply because the experience is better. Credit where it’s due. Stagecoach are doing an incredible job with their sustainability efforts. .
