Today another of my incredible friends will pin CW5. Many don’t understand what an epic achievement that is. He would tell you he’s just another guy, and that humility is his greatest strength. A long time ago as young BMQs we were in a hotel in Savannah and as we got off the elevator we saw a small sign that said “Wake Up and Be Awesome!” I may have encouraged him that we needed it… That sign may or may not live above his desk, but it’s how he lives his life every day.
