Lately, whenever I open this app and see the latest tricks, and hacks, and notes, and workflows, and spec here and skill there, I can't help but think: All of this will be washed away by the models. Every Markdown file that's precious to you right now will be gone.

Caleb Hammer reveals his biggest money mistake was buying rental properties instead of investing in the market “I made decent money, but I would have made so much more money by just being in the market instead of focusing on that. My rental properties back in my home state, I am fully exiting them and just putting the money in the market.”

dario amodei says: we're not hitting a wall — this year could accelerate so fast it shocks people, because exponentials only feel real in the "second half of the chessboard" anthropic likely has some RSI progress in the lab, and we'll see early effects by year-end

Unless I’m mistaken we’ve hit a tipping point in which parents are rising up against screens.

I think it'll be more like: You chat to your LLM app and it'll just spin up an app with a UI if it feels the need Like you want to book a holiday apartment, it spins up a fancy Airbnb-like interface and books it for you You want to edit your photo, it spins up a simple but advanced easy-to-use photo editor The idea is that interfaces and apps become ephemeral to help you achieve whatever you want in a moment

I hate to break this to everyone, but you probably don't have better taste than the AI. If you ask any leading model about a product decision with guidance: "don't tell me to ask users; just reason through it yourself." It will give you a better answer than 90% of PMs. A lot of people are afraid to do this because they suspect that the answers will actually be very good. There are plenty of other distinctly human things that we can contribute, but "having better taste" isn't one of them.

@JS_Zao I keep going back and forth about it, I don't think everyone is going to lose their jobs, but smaller engineering teams, seems likely.
