The irony of people attacking free breakfast clubs because ‘parents should work hard to feed their kids,’ when parents use these so they can drop their kids off earlier and then … you guessed it … go to work at the time required by their employer in order to feed their kids.

Unreasonable parents driving teachers out of the profession according to this TES article. Whilst I’m not saying schools are perfect and when a complaint is genuine it should be investigated properly but the level of abuse from parents to teachers being reported is completely

Is it true that the King is not delivering a message for Easter. ? If this is true why is he not ? We need to have a reason. If he can give messages to Muslims on their special religious days surely he must send a message to Christians. @RoyalFamily

Unpopular opinion: Homework is an intrusion of the state education system into private family life. It is both a signal of dominance but also of failure on the part of the teacher. There is sufficient time during school hours for all learning activities.

@ScottishSuffra1 It’s part of the National Curriculum: they learn about every religion. It’s gives them a wider point of view, prevents ignorance and encourages tolerance. I’d write your complaint to the DfE if you’re concerned about a variety of religions being taught in schools.

My grandson came home yesterday and told his mum that they had a lesson on muslims, and their religion in school that day. Today, my family decided that as Christians, catholics, and with Jewish relatives as well as women's rights activists aplenty within our family, this was not appropriate, needed, or wanted. Monday, the head teacher will have a complaint she never imagined, she will never forget and will never wish repeated.
