New Post: Grief in the Liminal – Part 2 Not all grief shows up as sadness. Sometimes it looks like frustration. Or restlessness. Or the quiet ache of things not turning out how you hoped. This second piece in my series explores what grief can teach us—especially when it’s wearing a different face. If you’ve ever found yourself in a season where things are ending… but the new hasn’t quite arrived yet… this is for you. open.substack.com/pub/iamscottho…

Just shared Entry 02 of my Substack series, Field Notes from the Liminal. This one’s called Finding My Way Back to Myself. It’s about what happens when you stop trying to fix everything else and start turning inward. It’s raw. Real-time. And maybe it’ll resonate. open.substack.com/pub/iamscottho…

After a long season of leading, I’m writing again. Not polished. Not performative. Just honest reflections from the in-between. Transitions. Identity. Vision. Reinvention. It’s called Field Notes from the Liminal—and if you’ve ever stood between what was and what’s next, it’s for you. You can subscribe to it here iamscotthodge.substack.com/?r=66iyy&utm_c…

Chat GPT is fully broke. It won't respond in any other way than I'm here to help with any specific tasks or questions you have how can I assist further? However that's all it will say. I asked her a question it just repeats that phrasing over and over until I pull my hair out.

Enjoyed this great conversation with Benji Block on his Undercurrents Podcast. We talked art, fear, value based spiritual community and the opportunity for growth and evolution through pain. Check it out. Thanks for having me Benji! open.spotify.com/episode/6EgUfK…

Can anyone recommend good, progressive Jewish and Palestinian organizations and personal accounts to follow on here?

Sometimes I call my two youngest: “Israel & Palestine” - the conflict that never seems to end, but hopefully one day will.

Love our First Fridays at Society 57. Great food. Beautiful art. Well crafted cocktails. Inspiring live jazz. A passionate team. And of course, all of the beautiful people and friends who show up, hang out and make it such an amazing experience. Seriously….sometimes when I think about my life and what I have the privilege of doing, it makes me feel like one of the luckiest people alive. 🙏🏼

Imagine that a 200 pound bully pushed a 60 pound kid off a swing, stole his lunch money, and then put his foot on the little kid’s neck. While choking, imagine that the little kid threw a stone at the bully’s head. (1/5)

@Karen_Palmer 👋 I’m 47. Couple yrs ago had the privilege of meeting my birthmother, bfather, brother & 100 Y/O yiayia. Felt lots of things, but mostly gratitude for the brave decision made. I think it’s ok 4u to assume that ur son feels the same. Shared my story here: vimeo.com/275779022

The son I gave up for adoption is 47 yrs old today. I don't know where he is, or how he is, and I will likely never know. But I think of him all the time—more so, as I age and become ever more aware of my own mortality—and I hope he is well and happy and, most importantly, loved.

Took a walk through downtown Aurora this evening. So many feelings/emotions seeing the beautiful murals painted on top of the plywood covered windows of our neighboring businesses. Reminded me that life is full of… instagram.com/p/CBPaMTGAZB6/…
