Do not say you support LGB rights when at the same time claim a revised history of our movement which was spearheaded by lesbians and gays. Don't be lazy in your acceptance of today's false narrative when the real story is but a click away

@Keir_Starmer The problem is, is thet you dont know the country at all. You have doubled down on calling concerned citizens far right, thugs, and racists - you dont level this at the left who are violent and support terrorists - you stoked division and hate in your speech

Today the voices of division will be loud. They don't speak for the country I know, one that belongs to all of us. That's our Britain. A Britain worth fighting for. lbc.co.uk/article/keir-s…

Cut My Tax
Cut My Tax@CutMyTaxUK·
Andy Burnham is a high tax obsessive & high spender who has run up a lot of debt in Manchester. On tax he wants: The top rate to be hiked to 50%, even though that will lose revenue A wealth tax A holiday tax Council tax revaluation, so some "will have to pay more" A 10% social care levy on top of inheritance tax New local taxes to pay for infrastructure & social care A graduate tax On spending he opposes welfare cuts & wants: £40bn of new borrowing to build council houses More borrowing powers for councils to build council houses New borrowing to pay for defence A new "free" National Care Service / more social care funding More homelessness and rough-sleeping funding More bus subsidies & "free transport for teenagers" Widespread nationalisation, inc energy, "rolling back the 1980s" Abandoning the fiscal framework because Britain has "got to get beyond this thing of being in hock to the bond markets"

@KingBobIIV You won't see this on the BBC: The organisers of other planned march “Nakba and against far right” Chris Nineham (Stop The War Coalition) & Ben Jamal (PSC) are both convicted criminals: cps.gov.uk/london-south/n…

A little bit about Andy Burnham... He has repeatedly ignored Rochdale and Oldham rape gangs. He wasted £100m+ on failed Clean Air Zone before U-turning. He oversaw Greater Manchester Police collapse amid a crime surge. He was Health Secretary during the Mid-Staffordshire NHS deaths scandal and cover-up between 2005-2008. He claimed £17k expenses for a London flat within walking distance of Parliament. He's just as bad as the rest of them, perhaps even worse... I guess that’s why the pound tumbled upon news of his leadership bid.

Proud to join hundreds of thousands of people to mark 78 years of the ongoing Nakba against the Palestinian people. We are a mass movement for peace — and we are never, ever going away.

I am absolutely appalled by the decision of the new Reform UK administration at @Essex_CC removing the Ukrainian flag that has flown in support since the start of the war. Disgusting behaviour! As suspected proves they are Putin sympathisers! bbc.co.uk/news/articles/…

Each department in government will now have its own delivery unit, led by a senior civil servant. And every Secretary of State and Minister of State will be given a new “delivery advisor” in their private office to support this work. These new delivery functions will be accountable to both their Secretary of State and to my team. This builds on my recent work setting up the new joint No10 and Cabinet Office Delivery Unit. Looks like I’ve really rattled the cages of the pro-Putin lot and the bots who are REALLY obsessed with the flag of Ukraine not being flown in the U.K. And odd thing to be obsessed by. And very weird putting out a press release celebrating you took it down!

Essex County Council is broken. We have huge issues with funding social care, potholes, huge capital projects, the worst SEN provision in the UK and more. What is Reform's priority? Remove the flag of our ally. These people are nothing more than plastic patriots.

@mtpennycook Oh behave. You said nothing about the attacks on Jews or Sikhs thus far What is scary is that @UKLabour have chosen to bill ordinary people of all creeds and colours as racists. Stop meddling and let people, like you do with the hamas marches, protest for their right to safety

I appreciate that many people will understandably be frightened by what they are seeing at the Unite the Kingdom demonstration today. The right to protest is fundamental. But it can’t be a cover for inciting hatred. We must stand against attempts to inflame and divide us.

Important we give these Green councillor resignations as much spotlight as the BBC and Sky give Reform and Tory resignations. Share away.

Is Starmer amazing? No. Is he a decent bloke? Yes. Every leader makes mistakes. Thatcher, Churchill, Blair. Now tiny issues are magnified into full blown crisis. Perspective needed. Line must be drawn or we end up with instability ad infinitum with PMs going every other year.

Communities in the Cities of London and Westminster will be profoundly concerned about the marches taking place today. We will not be divided by hatred. I am in direct contact with the police and community leaders. Our safety and security is the priority.
