She is now convinced I have a secret hoard of dog biscuits in the house. I tried to show her that it was just a book but she tried to eat the book! I have barricaded myself in. She is currently doing backflips outside the front door.

Next door is a lovely little dog called κουλουράκι (cookie). She, unsurprisingly, loves dog biscuits. Turns out 'Queer As Folklore' is exactly the same size and colour as her absolute favourite dog biscuit box... When her owner handed my copy back to me she went MENTAL!

From what I can see (as a non lawyer) they were trying to argue for format shifting + digital lending - I’d be interested to read something on the context & history of format shifting in the US, which (like the UK) appears to not be allowed at all.
