@ColtKnost @thesleezyman My biggest question/issue is how this may have been triggered. Unless every player in the field has the same monitoring and accountability, a call in from a viewer feels kinda icky in this era of prop betting etc.

Bryson threatening to not play tomorrow is some of the most dramatic, performative stuff I've ever seen from a professional golfer. At the absolute minimum, it's extremely reasonable to understand how the R&A reached the decision they did based on the video evidence. Take the penalty, and play the game. You're three shots back in a major heading into the weekend. I don't think he actually won't play, but to do this is just one big massive 🙄
