I don't know the contents of the book but by now it is well known that mentalism is not a real psychic ability and it is reliant on suggestion, slight of hand, psychology, math, etc. to create the illusion of mind reading. If the books are about mind reading, then it shouldn't take a Pablo Torre episode to expose the guy as a con man. If the books are about using those techniques, then that's a different story. I thought the whole thing was extremely lame.

I don’t know if the Blue Jays ever rebound to become the 94 win team they were last season, but I do think if they get healthy they will start to play better than they are right now. And that’s why it’s important to bury them when they’re down. They are objectively a bad team right now. The Yankees have a better roster. If the Yankees can somehow take these next two games, that puts Toronto 12-13 games out of the division race. I don’t care who they get back from injury. That would be a really big hole to dig out of. Most teams aren’t digging out of that.
