It's all an illusion. Liberal Mark Carney opposed the Northern Gateway pipeline. He imposed rebranded and higher carbon taxes. He called to keep half of Canada's oil in the ground. And he kept every Liberal anti-development law on the books. Get this Liberal government out of the way, green-light a pipeline, and let our workers get shovels in the ground and resources to market.

While the Carney Liberals sought a costly majority achieved through backroom deals, their other Liberal MPs were blocking our efforts to get to the bottom of the Finance Minister’s conflicts on the Alto Rail boondoggle. The Carney Liberals did not win a majority government through a general election or today's by-elections. Instead, it was won through backroom deals with politicians who betrayed the people who voted for them. While the Prime Minister spent the year on this cynical power grab, he has doubled the deficit, and given Canada the worst grocery prices and housing costs in the G7. Liberals expect Canadians to give up, get complacent and go away, so Carney can have total power without any accountability. That will not happen. Our country and its people are worth fighting for. We will continue to fight for people to afford homes, food and fuel. We will continue to fight for safety in our streets. We will continue to fight for our resource workers and soldiers. I will continue to lead that fight every day and in every way in Parliament, across the country and in the next election, when Canadians will reclaim the country we know and love.

Zero tax on the pumps will infact not work. It would infact raise my land taxes by 8-10% which would cost more than the savings. This is after I talked with my city counsel friend. So you save it at the pump, pay it back to the city. Provinces may add a 1% increase in taxes too
