The NBA says there were two incorrect calls in last night's GSW-HOU matchup, which would have directly impacted the game: 1) The NBA says Amen Thompson should have been called for a foul on Steph Curry with 1:27 left after a made layup. 2) Alperen Sengun should have been called for a 3-second violation with 1:10 left, which should have resulted in a turnover. This led to Alperen Sengun making a layup and Draymond Green fouling him. Sengun made the subsequent free throw.

Another bizarre one from UNC. So many young, talented coaches in D1 that would thrive in a spot like this. Virtually 0 precedent for a guy like Malone at the college level. If you’re going to keep throwing mud at the wall, at least do it in an attempt to find the next Brad Stevens.

North Carolina intends to hire longtime NBA coach Michael Malone as the school’s next basketball coach, per ESPN’s @PeteThamel. He’s an NBA Championship coach with the Denver Nuggets from the 2022-23 season and has won 510 games as an NBA head coach.

The overwhelming majority of Americans (polls show over 80%) oppose the deportation of people like this woman. In every previous administration, including Trump's first, this woman would not have been a priority for enforcement. What are we doing here? This is wrong.

A U.S. Army staff sergeant and his wife arrived at his base in Louisiana last week, expecting to begin their life together as newlyweds. ICE has arrested and caged her instead. She was brought to the USA as a toddler. These people should be citizens.

But does Adam Silver have a) the creativity to come up with solutions? b) the political willpower to go ahead to do what is necessary? IMO, he doesn't have the creativity (see the recent "solutions" for tanking) & "B" is a tougher sell

I don’t recall runners knee being a thing in nba and now we have 2 of the top 10 players (and IMHO 2 of the top 5 watches) dealing with it? Rule and systemic changes to nba can’t come fast enough

I showed Superman (2025) to my 3 year old nieces yesterday and they loved it. They liked seeing him fly, they thought the dog was cute, they even liked the robot lady. They really dug the giant monster since they are also into Godzilla. Needless to say I threw the remote across the room and yelled at them for praising a movie for children. I pulled up pictures of Henry Cavill's suit and explained why it was peak and then made them sit through a 4 hour live stream of a guy talking about how it broke the consistent lore from the comics. I set them straight. I am also not allowed to babysit anymore.
