@Steven_Swinford Have some dignity, and stop pretending he’s a colossus. He’s a wannabe tinpot dictator, stamping on his own people because he can’t even point a peashooter at anyone else.

@NeilWayneSmith @fandompulse She probably doesn’t realise that there was anything before STD. It’s a hell of a thing, isn’t it? Some of us watched over six hundred episodes before STD, then dozens more of STD,PIC and SNW… and we’re “not fans” and “never knew what trek really was”.

Starfleet Academy star Gina Yashere claims the show is one of the best of Star Trek: "I thought we made an amazing show. The first season was fantastic, and we just finished shooting Season 2, and I can say Season 2 is even better. We just kept building on that platform we made, and in my humble opinion, I think it was one of the best first seasons of Star Trek made." Do you agree with her?

The spectacle of Keir Starmer pretending to be the leader of a global coalition securing navigation through the Strait of Hormuz, when the Royal Navy does not have a single reliable destroyer in the region, is quite something.

As the situation in the Middle East causes anxiety for people across the country, this government remains focused on the cost of living. Labour is stepping in to make sure graduates at home don't pay the price for conflicts abroad. itv.com/news/2026-04-0…

@KarlTurnerMP @wesstreeting @TheBMA Karl, everyone who was paying attention rather than backing Tories and celebrating Streeting’s “triumph” knew that it was a complete lash up from beginning to end. Your dignity is worth more than this.

I know how much @wesstreeting cares about our NHS and how he is doing his level best to negotiate with @TheBMA in good faith. In negotiations there has to be compromise. I think residents doctors union reps need to come back to the table asap with a view to compromise.

@afneil @jackiem29967594 Those strikes were run by Labours own activists. The “generous” deal that was offered didn’t fix anything, but meant that the doctors could be painted as “greedy” in any future crisis.

All very well. But when it was the Tories having to deal with the hard-left resident doctors’ leaders, Labour pols like Wes Streeting said a deal could be reached if only the Tory government negotiated with them properly. So what’s the excuse for no deal now?
LBC@LBC

"We could have built a few hospitals with that..." Strikes by resident doctors have cost £3 billion over the last few years. Wes Streeting tells @NickFerrariLBC what the money could have been spent on if the strikes had been prevented.

@timmyvoe @Richard00655575 The strike that the Tories faced was driven by Labours activists. Streeting capitulated rather than negotiated. 1) it made Labour look decisive. 2) it painted the Tories as unreasonable. 3) it was so expensive that it could be used to undermine the doctors during real disputes.

See the difference Wes Streeting said the power to stop Resident Doctors strikes lay solely with the Government when the Tories were in power Now the blame is solely on the Resident Doctors 🤷🏻‍♂️🤷🏻‍♂️🤷🏻‍♂️ Hypocritical, inept, weak, useless
Wes Streeting@wesstreeting

The Tories refused to negotiate. We have negotiated - with BMA officers, who agreed it and recommended it to their committee. Their committee rejected it and have refused to meet me repeatedly. There is fault here, but it’s not the Government’s. It takes two to tango.

@PhilipIngMBE @wesstreeting Indeed the “negotiation” he’s boasting about was basically a capitulation, agreeing to an expensive deal that didn’t fix anything, so that they could show off that they were “fixing the foundations”

@wesstreeting You don’t “negotiate” you capitulated, giving them an expensive deal that didn’t fix anything. The whole charade was run by your activists to bring down the Tories. Now there’s a real crisis, and you’re trying to blame the doctors.

The Australian government just arrested our most decorated veteran from the Afghanistan War for alleged war crimes. Ben Roberts-Smith was awarded the Victoria Cross for Australia after singlehandedly storming two Taliban machine gun positions by himself in order to save his own SAS team. And this is how we repay him. I spoke to an Australian Afghan war veteran who told me that the Australian government literally paid for billboards in Afghanistan offering to pay random Afghans to come forward with war crime allegations. What country on Earth would do this to itself? Tell me: When does the Taliban plan on holding war crimes tribunals into their own people? When do the Taliban plan on holding themselves accountable for terrorism? Absolutely retarded to purge your own men when fighting a brutal barbaric enemy that respects no rules whatsoever. We are a cucked nation. Free Ben Roberts-Smith.
