this got nuked by the 1st gen washed out led monitors, users cranked up brightness to deal w/them then led monitors got better & now we have the disaster of "supporting" light & dark mode

The thing no one seems to get yet is that AI will for a short time replace these formerly expensive disaster shots, but in the long term make them less interesting. The epicness of such scenes will cease to be epic. Similar to how today all opera seems canned.
