@UHC @CMSGov UHC has told us they have no way to contact CMS, no way to correct the MARx error, and no mechanism to escalate an urgent disenrollment. Is this accurate? Families shouldn’t be trapped when an insurer makes an error and claims they cannot communicate with @CMSGov to fix it.

NORTH CAROLINA: If you are in line to vote, STAY IN LINE! Anybody who is in line to vote by 7:30 PM is legally allowed to cast their ballot — don’t let anybody tell you otherwise. Races in NC are always close, and it’s going to take ALL of us to ensure victory.

What are your options if you still have an N.C. absentee ballot ?(long tweet) 1. You can simply vote on Election Day in your precinct and discard the absentee ballot. 2. You can hand deliver it to the county board of elections that issued it, Monday during office hours, or Tuesday from office opening until 7:30 pm. You have to go into the office, no drop box. County election office addresses: vt.ncsbe.gov/BOEInfo/ ballots can be delivered by the voter or by a near relative (essentially spouse, parent, child, sibling, grandparent, grandchild or in-law. ) 3. If you can’t do either of the above (maybe a college student away out of state or across the state you could Monday, AT A US POST OFFICE send it Priority Mail Express (likely $32). Many post offices close at 4 pm or 4:30 pm. OR send it UPS or FEDEX NEXT DAY AIR. You will need to go into the UPS or FedEx office, or a UPS Store. Many may cut off next day delivery by early afternoon. This will likely be $50 or more. For UPS or FEDEX you must use the county board of elections street address look it up here vt.ncsbe.gov/BOEInfo/ ANY BALLOT SENT USPS FedEx OR UPS MUST GET TO THE COUNTY BY ELECTION DAY BEFORE 7:30 pm. 4. If you have a ballot issued by one if the 25 Hurricane Helene counties you can deliver it in person to ANY county board of elections. This could cover displaced persons OR college students away from home. #ncpol

The Town of Black Mountain is asking folks to hold off on donations for a few weeks. We are overwhelmed with supplies. Some churches are even having to turn supplies away. It’s a logistics nightmare. We’ll need help for MONTHS. It’s a marathon, not a sprint.
