The 2026 Barkley Marathons began with one of the strongest fields ever. The starting field came from 15 Counties as well as 15 States, and included ten women. The course seemed not to care. Over 70% of the field is done. #BM100

#Day3653: Today marks my 10-year anniversary of when I first wore my #MetsRoadJersey for the first time after they lost the 2015 World Series. From Halifax, NS to Miami, FL to Chicago, IL, and to several baseball and hockey games, I have not missed a SINGLE day of wearing my jersey and I’m wearing it for 3,653 consecutive days now. Some people may be skeptic that I may have not worn it every day and gave up on it, but I would NEVER give up on it. I’ve just not been active on social media that much, and my jersey is getting to look bad enough for me to cover it under my clothing whenever I’m going out in public. Now it’s on to 2026 and I will keep wearing it until the @Mets win the World Series. No matter how bad my jersey gets, I could wear it for 20 years if my jersey can just hang in there for another decade.
