Trump announced that there are 1.5 million Palestinians remaining in Gaza that he wants to evacuate to Jordan and Egypt. The news is all about Saudi Arabia, Qatar, Egypt, Jordan and UAE rejecting Trump’s plan. But you know what’s not in the news? How in October 2023, there were 2.3 million people living in Gaza. And now there’s only 1.5 million, even after all the newly born babies. That means AT LEAST 800,000 Palestinians have been killed in 15 months. Eight. Hundred. Thousand. People.

Side note… this is me in Indonesia just a couple of months ago… it is home to the world’s largest Islamic population. I grew up there… I speak the language… many devout muslims are like family to me 🙏My fight against extremism/terrorism is AS MUCH for them as for any child in Israel, Gaza and around the world. Terrorism hurts them ALL. No exceptions. If you care about kids stand against it. In all its forms. Caring about innocent children suffering in Gaza IS condemning Hamas and all terrorists who use them to destroy the things they hate: life, freedom, democracy and peace 🙏❤️

Jakarta! Dad was at the Embassy there… had two postings… early 90s and late 90s… we were there when the Soeharto regime fell… incredible to watch a country stand up and fight for democracy at such a young age - really shaped a lot of my values/beliefs…
