hyperliquid:native seems a bit overvalued. In June there was a period when revenues contracted while the price still went up, then only revenues followed, so maybe the market is pricing in either HIP-4 or something else we don’t know about yet

If we see a s3 of Hyperliquid, how are they even going the measure everything lol. During the first two season we basically just had crypto perps, spot coins and HLP. Now there’s in addition: > HIP-3 markets by different deployers > HIP-4 markets > HyperEVM > Borrowing, Lending and looping protocols > NFTs > Earn Page > Liquid Staking and normal staking > Builder Code apps > Portfolio Margin > Priority Fee structure > Fee rebates through staking And so much more data. How are they going to take everything into account lol.

Introducing Pre-IPO Perpetuals (IPOP). The weeks before an IPO are some of the most consequential in a company’s price history, and historically, the least observable. Private market quotes are stale and gated and Public markets haven’t started trading yet. Peak interest coincides with an absence of prices. We’re introducing IPOP markets on XYZ to change that.

Have mixed feelings about the app, sometimes it feels too noisy with social stuff and extra info (option to modify the widgets would be great), and other times it’s not detailed enough, especially considering the price charts. I’m not a fan of the smoothed line chart style, I get that it’s meant to be more beginner-friendly, but having a candlestick option with smaller timeframes would also be a big improvement.

Hey @Grok why is the $BTC Funding Rate negative all the sudden? Bitcoin just reclaimed the 100D for the first time since October 2025. It hasn't been able to reclaim this line ever since the 10/10 when organized crime made a $28,000,000,000 liquidation happen in a single day.

@MylesGinvest Negative funding does not automatically mean the market is heavily short. It can also mean spot takers are outpacing perp buyers. Seems more like spot-driven accumulation than heavy shorting imo (either way it's bullish)

BTC funding rate is EXTREMELY negative Not sure if we have ever seen funding so negative before If BTC starts to pump with all these leveraged short positions we could see a massive short squeeze to 100k quickly

The Kobeissi Letter
The Kobeissi Letter@KobeissiLetter·
Europe is in a full-blown energy crisis. In fact, Europe's energy crisis has gotten so bad that the European Commission is now recommending Europeans to work from home. They are also recommending using public transportation to cut fossil fuel use. Meanwhile, new IEA data shows that Europe has just 6 weeks worth of jet fuel remaining as the Iran War shortage worsens. As a result, many flights are expected to be cancelled on non-essential routes. Between the Russia-Ukraine War and the Strait of Hormuz closure, Europe's vulnerability to energy supply shocks has been exposed. We expect another wave of inflation in Europe.
