@judybattista @kalynkahler There is no incentive to get it right. Just like you said, "conversation around." If the NFL would clean up all the controversial calls, what would fans talk about all week and off season. Bad calls keeps the NFL front and center from the radio &TV to the water cooler.

The conversation around catch/no catch in the Competition Committee is the need for the rules to reflect not only how the play looks live but how it looks on replay, with technology offering the ability to go frame by frame through the play.
