what do you call a women/ man who live in these condition?

Wife and I found an amazing house today on 2 acres of land in a very nice neighborhood. Significant upgrade from our current home/yard/hood.
The kiddos want to veto it because they would have to switch elementary schools. They are in 2nd grade and kindergarten.
Dad advice?

After nearly 30 years of Republican control, Texas now ranks 40th overall in education & 47th in reading.

I voted for Donald Trump because I believed he was the lesser of two evils.
Not because I thought he was perfect — but because I believed the message.
No new wars.
End the existing ones.
Put America First.
That was the promise that sold it.
But now I’m watching something very different unfold.
Conflicts aren’t cooling down — they’re expanding.
Money is still flowing overseas in massive amounts.
Military aid keeps stretching across multiple fronts.
And at home?
Prices keep climbing.
Families are stretched thin just buying groceries.
Veterans are still struggling on the streets.
Debt and stress are everywhere you look.
So I keep asking the same question:
Where did America First go?
Because I didn’t vote for global escalation.
I didn’t vote for endless foreign spending.
I voted for stability at home and peace abroad.
And right now… that promise feels further away than ever.
That’s why people aren’t just disappointed anymore.
They’re questioning everything.

@PNav57 From what I read halal meat inhumanly butchers animals. And people are upset because nobody wants to inhumanly impose suffering on animals already giving their life. But I could be wrong please help me out. Do they really bleed animals from the neck to be halal?

Are people seriously mad that HEB carries Halal meat or is this manufactured social media outrage?What’s the point in being mad about something that literally does not affect you in any way? I don’t get it? Is it that you’re mad they sell something that mostly caters to a non-Christian’s diet? Are you also against kosher foods? I have so many questions…

I had received some questions about President @realDonaldTrump's recent posts, and here are my thoughts:
I do not believe President Trump would knowingly depict himself as Jesus Christ—that would certainly be inappropriate. I’m thankful the President has made it very clear that this was not at all what he thought the AI-generated image was representing—he thought it was a doctor helping someone, and when he learned of the concerns, he immediately removed the post.
When I looked at the illustration, I didn’t jump to the same conclusion as some. There were no spiritual references—no halo, there were no crosses, no angels. It was a flag, soldiers, a nurse, fighter planes, eagles, the Statue of Liberty, and I think this is a lot to do about nothing. There is so much ill-intended speculation. I think his enemies are always foaming at the mouth at any possible opportunity to make him look bad.
And the illustration from someone else he reposted on Truth Social yesterday, I must say that I like the fact that this is a picture of Jesus whispering in his ear, or at least His hand on his shoulder, guiding him. We all need that—we all need to be listening to Jesus. Again, I think there is an attempt to spin this into something that it isn’t. Remember, President Trump didn’t draw this, he didn’t create it, he reposted it on his social media because he thought it was nice—I would have to agree.
I’m not a Catholic, I’m an evangelical, but I appreciate how President Trump has defended religious freedom for people of all faiths, including millions of evangelicals and Catholics in the U.S. and around the world. He is the most pro-Christian, pro-life president in my lifetime, and he doesn’t shy away from it. I would hope that the President and Pope Leo can meet at some point, and that the Pope would have the opportunity to thank the President for his efforts to protect religious liberty for Catholics and people of all faiths.

Trump is 100% right to call out the Pope.
When the Pope chooses to act like a politician — inserting himself into foreign policy, immigration debates, and international conflicts — he opens himself up to criticism, just like any other public figure.
As a pastor who's not afraid of pushback, I get it. I'm in the political arena too. But let's be honest: This isn't about religion anymore. It's politics dressed up in a cassock.
To anyone not blindly loyal to the institution, it's clear — this Pope leans heavily liberal, using the Chair of Peter as cover for his personal views. He’s hammered President Trump since day one on immigration and foreign policy, yet stays strangely silent on regimes that slaughter their own people, oppress Christians, or pursue demonic ideologies.
Trump respects Catholics. He's not Catholic — neither am I — but he's working to negotiate real peace with dangerous actors while protecting American lives. Where's the Pope's outrage over actual evil and persecution? Why the one-sided lectures aimed only at the right?
When spiritual leaders weaponize faith to push a partisan agenda instead of preaching the Gospel, they deserve accountability — not immunity.
The Pope should focus on saving souls, not playing global diplomat. Trump is simply saying what millions of faithful Christians are already thinking.
