CORRECT ME IF I'M WRONG BUT, As I turn 43 this year, I have realised, as a man, no one cares about you. Not your wife. Not your family. Not your friends. Not your workmates. Nobody. People act like they care, but deep down, they don't. You are on your own. Always on your own.

The environment determines their performance. They're from the north, so they're used to dry air and low humidity. The south is the opposite of their environment because of our high humidity, heavy rainfall and more parasites. Without proper acclimatization and management, they won't thrive here. I lost money mehn but I learned my lesson. Their houses must be raised and deworming is non negotiable.

I Started With 3 Local Chickens… Now I Have Over 200 🥰 and made over 200k This woman you’re seeing She’s my regular customer. Every 2–3 months, she comes to my farm with her basket… and prices my local chickens anyhow 😄 And most times… I still sell. Why? Because I have enough. Right now, I still have over 80–90 birds left… after selling and even giving some out. Today, she picked just 7–8 birds… and it was already close to ₦20,000. The highest she has bought from me? ₦48,000. And she has bought from me countless times. Now here’s the part many people don’t understand… I didn’t start big. I started with just 3 local chickens. The reason then was simple… I needed them to help my local turkey hatch eggs. But within one year… Boom. They started multiplying. Generation after generation. Even the original ones I bought are still alive today. They may not lay like before, but they still produce. I’ve sold. I’ve gifted. And they still keep reproducing. Honestly, I can’t even calculate everything I’ve made… but I can confidently say I’ve made over ₦200,000 from local chickens alone. 📍 THE REAL LESSON: Stop waiting for big money before you start poultry. You can start small. With as low as ₦10,000, you can get 2–3 local hens. In 2–3 months, they’ll start giving you chicks. In one year… you’ll be shocked at your numbers. Small start. Patience. Consistency. 💬 If you found this useful, follow for more real farm breakdowns. ~Adebayo Abdulganiyu
