Remember that after banning alcohol and LGBTQ+ flags, the entire world was furious and demanding that the World Cup be withdrawn from Qatar. However, they don't blink an eye about a president who has killed hundreds of children in Iran, banned 75 countries from entering the World Cup hosting nation, terrorised and hunted down his own citizens, fuelled a genocide in Gaza, and is expanding his colonial project all over the world.
And he is now threatening a World Cup participant...
