Speaker Johnson and House Republicans held the Department of Homeland Security hostage for more than two months (the longest agency shutdown in history!) just to pass the exact bipartisan bill that has come to the floor numerous times already. TSA workers, FEMA, and the Coast Guard will finally be paid. Long overdue.
