Extreme politicians have kept the House in chaos for the past several weeks—they’ve held the congress hostage with political games and blocked any progress to address the squeeze on Americans’ pocketbooks. This week, I’m focused on legislation that makes a real difference for my neighbors back home and lowering grocery prices and electric bills.

Being at home with my neighbors—students, servicemembers, families, veterans and more—always leaves me with new ideas and a renewed vigor to fight for Tampa Bay. I’m laser-focused on lowering costs. Life is too expensive, and you deserve to be able to afford groceries, gas, health care, and electricity without breaking the bank. Housing is too expensive. The good news is that the bipartisan 21st Century ROAD to Housing Act will become law tomorrow! 🏘️ 👏 The new law will help lower the cost of housing for families, veterans, young people and first-time homebuyers across the Tampa Bay area who have seen the dream of homeownership move farther out of reach. 8,000,000 Americans’ health care has been ripped away in one year of the Big Ugly Bill. From cutting funding to allowing premiums to increase two- to three-times what they were last year, peoples’ health is in jeopardy as coverage gets further out of reach. The legislation delivered huge tax breaks for billionaires while health care costs and groceries continue to rise. I’m fighting to expand health care access and lower costs for you, not delivering corrupt handouts to donors and cronies.
