Question for the runners: how many of you run in multiple pairs of shoes each week? Inspired by a post from @jonisportsci on the (evidence based) benefit of wearing multiple pairs per week (he cites up to 39% reduction in injury risk!) I thought I’d walk (run) you through my weekly routine if @PUMARunning shoes. I run six days a week with two very easy days, one or two easy days, one (sometimes two) workout, and a long run, plus an off day. Sometimes I’m doing two workouts during the week and will occasionally double on workout day and/or the day following. Monday: @restdaybrags Tuesday: easy with strides, Deviate Nitro or Velocity Wednesday: workout, Deviate Elite Thursday: easy, Velocity Friday: super easy, MagMax Saturday: long run, Deviate Elite or Fast-Trac if on trail Sunday: medium long run and easy, Velocity or Deviate Nitro. Sometimes MagMax if feeling wrecked, or Fast-Trac if trail! I’ll double in the Velocity or MagMax. If I’m running to the gym, I’ll wear the PUMA X Hyrox collab shoe. But can ya tell I love the velocity!? 😂 That’s up to five pairs a week for me (but usually four), with the Velocity getting in the most runs. When I travel, I always bring Velocity and sometimes Deviate too. If I could only have two, it would be those! 🤔✍️👇 What does your rotation look like? Have you tried PUMA yet!?
