I am usually pro-labor but the LIRR strike is absurd they’re already the best paid agency in the country, with average total comp of over $200K, and now they’re refusing a 4% raise? This is a perfect example of why US transit is so inefficient!

I'm not a fan of this at all. Thanksgiving Eve is one of the best party days of the year. It's also a travel day for many people as they go home to see their family. I love the NFL but it doesn't need to completely monopolize our lives plus with so many games Wednesday, Thursday & Friday, that Sunday after Thanksgiving isn't as good.

Kendrick is an elite rapper and that's pretty much it. That's where it ends with him.
Drake is a complete artist. Drake can rap at Kendricks level easily whilst making music that Kendrick doesn't have the skills to pull off.
Drake has better songwriting and understanding of melody that has allowed him to have a sound nobody outside of Kanye has achieved. He has literally been a huge influence to artists that debuted after him in a way Kendrick hasn't.
Kendrick is steph curry and drake is LeBron James. 2 different tiers of greatness.

It doesn’t matter who you voted for or what your political beliefs are; putting kids in detention centers is wrong. When I look at my two boys, I don’t think about them getting taken. No parent should. And it shouldn’t be a privilege that we have because of what we look like. Everyone deserves that right. This has to stop.

$7.25 an hour is about $14,000 a year. No one can survive on that. People can barely survive on double that. We raised the minimum wage in Illinois. It's long overdue everywhere else.

They don’t *need* to make this choice. There’s no basketball mechanism forcing it. They’re expected to make this choice so their owners can avoid a historic tax bill, and if they’re going to make their team worse to do that let’s appropriately shame them for it.
