@Lilly_3D Yes, I'm still on it! It's a great piece of software, a true gem. But yes, development is a bit silent, guess AI videos have taken over.
Lately, I've been experimenting with granular materials. Like this one here:
English

@sebbas I'm sure you've already gotten this question before, but is development of Mantaflow continuing? As far as I know it's been some time since the last significant update to it's github repo or implementation in Blender
English

@Ever_Since_1984 Hi! Interesting, so you'd like to get access to the 3D fluid mesh in edit mode and then do a UV unwrap? Yes lately, I have been working on mantaflow, trying some things with particles
English

@sebbas really good. Is possible to get sticky fluid to objects in mantaflow?
English

@JarenNull Glad to hear! Yes, these kind of optimizations would be really nice to have - maybe one of the next projects
English

@sebbas Thankyou so much for the additions for viscosity! I can simulate honey now!!!😃
But I am curious. Would there be potential to use tech like this? GPU computed fluid sim?

shout-out to the person that develop the diagnose tools for #mantaflow in the #GSOC, if someone knows the name (i don't remember at the moment) please tag in the comments, #blender needs more #diagnose tools like this.

@topher_batty, that's your method from "Accurate Viscous Free Surfaces ...", integrated into Mantaflow and added to Blender's fluid modifier.
English

@DonBariloche Hi! That's unfortunately not implemented yet. While collision objects influence fluid, there is no force exchange the other way around.
English

@PaoloFurani Yes, feel free to leave any question you have. Documentation can always be improved, especially for new features.
English

@PaoloFurani Sure, what kind of info do you need? For general questions I'd first take a look at the manual:

English

@lucianomunoz_ That person should definitely make a build from source.
Compare it to Blender running through Rosetta.
And to Blender running on an Intel Mac.
English

@thefaketomato Some of the differences are described in the 2.92 release notes
