Hello, spring. 🍓 The season brings even more fresh fruits and veggies to rescue and put to good use in our community. Here’s to spring produce and the good it can do. 💚

One shift sets it up, the next shift keeps it moving. This morning’s crew came in to instructions from last night’s kitchen team as we get ready to make 40 pans, with Ric and Tiara building the tilts for volunteers to cook. It’s all part of the teamwork behind every meal.

Ciabatta, tortillas, sliced bread — we use what we get and make it count. 🥪 Yesterday’s sandwich production was full of fresh veggies, proteins, and lots of color, all coming together to create delicious, nutritious meals for our community. 💚

A whole pallet of cucumbers = a lot of possibilities. 🥒 Ray got to work making pickles, with plans to pickle more veggies and create a relish for our egg salad sandwiches. Food rescue takes creativity — and our team brings it every day. 💚

Fresh starts are at the heart of our work — and today we’re celebrating Anne King as she begins her next chapter in Arizona. 🌵 We’re grateful for all she’s poured into our Culinary Job Training students, and for this amazing cake by Tiki to help send her off in style. 💚 #Indy
