you skated around the question. so, i’m going to assume you’ve not personally lost a job b/c someone they chose to use AI to do the work instead. i’m also going to guess your probably suing for copyright infringement, so it’s not really about the art. is it. it’s about money and your IP rights. all that morality and virtue signaling. for what?

@secondrealm I literally explained how artists are impacted??? And yes I’ve been impacted by GenAi myself. It’s why i’m suing various GenAi companies. Furthermore if you are not seeing the harm or folks impacted is because you’re not looking. Spend some time earnestly looking at artist-

@secondrealm Our livelihoods. To claim all workers can benefit off the tech now, is to normalize this exploitation amongst other harms. If the original sins of GenAi companies aren’t addressed then thats one way creatives workers are thrown under the bus. Pretty straightforward.

@secondrealm No. What is actually unreasonable is being ok with throwing creative workers under the bus in order to power tech that impacts the same markets of creative workers. Even more so to normalize the worst iteration of this tech instead of advocating for more ethical ways forward
