Last night I just had enough. I’m sick and tired of transgender kids getting bullied. So I went to the Senate floor to call out the adults who relentlessly and shamelessly target these kids.

@FetsKatze @CorsIAQ Everytime I take my child home to Bombay I expose them to a higher risk of malaria, dengue, tuberculosis, amoebic dysentery, hepatitis, Zika... And many other infectious agents. But I still choose it. Decisions have risk trade offs.

@seemab Me too!! But ultimately, these are just suggestions — individual school districts will still decide the rules for their district. But in my experience in Colorado, CDC statements are critical if there is any hope of movement.

Very good thread. Get vaccinated before the Delta variant gets you. Until you do, take precautions to decrease your inhalation dose. Wear a mask, avoid non-essential indoor spaces, distance from others, & to extent you have control - increase ventilation & improve filtration.
