I've been seeing this take a lot lately and unfortunately, it really shows you how many peeps don't understand what real motion capture is and what an automated procedural system is. Putting your hands on your hips is normal human movement, and not a patented video game mechanic. The difference is that the OG cutscene was captured by a real actor that physically performed that motion, whereas the new content in Black Flag Resynced is literally just triggering the same procedural loop system we've had since Odyssey that rigidly forces the character into that preset stance. Seeing countless people confuse real human acting with the lazy automated system to defend a literal regression happening before your very own eyes is outrageous.

The discourse surrounding Ubisoft UK’s gag post about the drunk animation in Assassin’s Creed Black Flag Resynced is hilarious because it exposes how many people didn’t play the game at all 💀 They didn’t need to “fix” it. It was never changed because it’s part of the story. People tried to hang the devs from the gallows over a three second scripted cutscene 💀 You can’t just get drunk and then hop into the Animus whenever you want. It’s a one time thing. Yet so many huge accounts jumped on this lol It’s mind blowing man 😂

These people will literally complain about anything without knowing what’s going on. It played for one scene in the entire game in the original, the clip they showed was not from that scene and they had to repost it because everyone was comparing one clip to a different one

Just came to an insane realization that if you could hear peoples thoughts, they would not sound the way they do when they talk, because the reason you sound that way is because of the shape of ur skull and vocal cords. if you read their thoughts they’d sound completely different

I think the craziest thing about this remake is that the entire ocean is now explorable you can jump off your ship from any spot and go underwater and explore. DO WE REALIZE HOW MUCH WATER IS IN BLACK FLAG? The fact that the entire underneath of the ocean is explorable is insane!

@RavenMentore I’m not a huge fan of them taking out sync objectives either I was always a huge fan of them and it made the playthrough more challenging and fun. My head canon is that the animus evolved so much it was no longer needed to be in exact sync with the ancestor(still miss them tho)

I actually gave thought to this whole thing when it came to the guards reacting and no desynchronisation while eavesdropping with the reactions. This isn't resynchronised at all, it's black flag remagined, and I'll give you the reason why: Because the core removal of OPTIONAL OBJECTIVES allowed you to SYNCHRONISE with the Assassin/Ancestor, and the EXACT way the ancestor or Assassin carried out that mission in the way they did it. In canon, the optional Objectives were mainly for the consistency of synchronising with the ancestor primarily and the actions they did originally; so your essentially not synchronising, you are just freestyling. By the core removal of the canon aspects, it also removes the part of its identity of the AC franchise; essentially starting from brotherhood. This feels like a massive downfall and pitfall. Next they'll put that Altair got hit many times, or ezio always did EVERY action. Considering they keep removing the originals from the Ubisoft store after remaking/remastering aswell so people cant play the originals is akin to brainwashing people into believing the originals don't exist. Whoever gave feedback didn't really care about the lore; they just wanted a game with pirates. #assassinscreedblackflagresynced #assassinscreed Yes, I'm also pointing the fingers to both Ubisoft and the creators who gave feedback on "Resynced" (honestly if you can really call it that) Read below in the images provided.

That depends, they removed Assassins Creed III when they remastered the original from the store to detract fro. the original to the remaster, I'd hedge my bets they'll do the same. This is why i worry because Ubisoft aren't known for keeping their word a majority of the time. - if they do delist it then I'll consider it a form of "brainwashing" newcomers and forcing oldies to play the newer ones by removing them.

Don’t think I’ve been this excited for an assassins creed release since origins. Black flag Resynced is genuinely shaping up to be an incredible remake🙏🏻
