My choice for GM of the leafs is Scott white if the names out there are accurate. It’s not even me disliking Chayka either. I just envy the way Dallas has been ran and if the leafs could bring in a small piece of that I’d be thrilled!

Max Scherzer has an ERA of 5.51 as a Blue Jay going into today. Nice clubhouse guy, but I’ve seen enough atp. Dude had an 0-2 count, couldn’t get a whiff, then threw an FF right down the dick for a HR. Scherzer/Lauer gotta be the guys you remove when Berrios/Trey return.

I will say Jim Nill was easily my favourite candidate to replace Treliving as GM, but that was probably never going to happen.
Tapping his right hand man as a replacement instead is definitely the next best option.

Nick Kypreos on Real Kyper & Bourne says he's hearing more John Chayka and less Mike Gillis right now. It's unconfirmed, but someone told him that maybe Gillis is out.
(Feels like it's either Gillis/Gold or Chayka and there's a ton of misdirection going on both ways)
